- Genuine job offer from a local employer for occupation-based provincial nomination.
- Minimum 12 months of continuous skilled work experience in the primary occupation.
- Submission of Commitment to Live and Work in New Brunswick form.
- Proof of financial stability for self and family members.
Skilled Workers with Employer Support
This category caters to individuals with a full-time, permanent job offer from a New Brunswick employer.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age between 22 and 55.
- Proficiency in English or French.
- Relevant qualifications, licenses, and certifications.
- At least high school-level education.
- Full-time, permanent job offer from a qualified New Brunswick employer.
- Intent to live and work in New Brunswick.
- Minimum score of 50 points on the selection grid.
Application Process:
- Submission of Application: Submit NBPNP form, IRCC forms, and supporting documents along with a CAD 250 refundable processing fee.
- Notification of Decision: Receive written notification of application decision; successful candidates have their permanent residence application forwarded to IRCC.
- Settling in New Brunswick: Update NBPNP with your new address and contact details within 30 days of arrival in Canada.
Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream
Designed for graduates of recognized New Brunswick academic institutions or those who have initiated/acquired a business in the province.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age between 22 and 55.
- Completion of at least two-year post-secondary education.
- CLB 5 proficiency in English or French.
- Intent to establish and operate a business in New Brunswick.
- Submission of an approved business plan.
- Personal net worth of at least CAD 600,000, with CAD 300,000 being debt-free.
- Three years of business management and ownership experience.
- Business concept demonstrating substantial economic benefit to the province.
- Minimum score of 65 points on the province's unique selection grid.
Application Process:
- Submission of Expression of Interest (EOI).
- Exploratory Visit: Gain insights into the province’s business environment.
- Application for Invitation: Apply for an invitation to apply for permanent residency.
- Application to Entrepreneurial Stream: Submit application to New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream.
- Interview: Participate in an interview with NBPNP officers for application evaluation.
- Nomination and Permanent Residence: Receive Canadian Permanent Residence application upon nomination.
